the COBOL-80 documentation. I also have to tach him about the ANSI tests, and about method of reimplementing COBOL-80 on a different OS. He can help on Sperry - Univac and learn from that. There are just 3 things that make me special in regard to COBOL-80
1) Detailed knowledge of peripheral drivers and the COBOL Interface Document
2) Knowledge of an overview sort of the whole system for marketing
3) General knowledge of the problems people have with COBOL and how to deal with them.
As far as COBOL for 16-bitters goes, the above is useful but I have no further knowledge other than that of the ANSI tests. Emphatically, I do not know 90% of the 8080 software and I would only be marginally better at figuring it out. For 16-bit implementation, it is better to have Stone + Seidel on call.

But for 8-bit COBOL, #1 is hopefully communicated by the CID, #2 by the overview, the manual and the technical documentation. #3 will be dealt with by having Mike come
