Thursday (cont'd) - There are some things special about it like
Geography + desert landscape (Chip + I have experienced it all + we can always return to visit on long weekends)
Weather. Snow + sunshine. Skiing close by. But snow and skiing close are low priority. Again, a visit would do. Fall is only time ABQ is really lots better than PA. In summer PA is better.
Spanish/Indian culture/architecture. There is a lot of this in Calif. And it can be transplanted in our home to some extent. Including luminaries + pinan.
Small town convenience. Palo Alto has this. Not like LA.
This was all before breakfast! It made me feel like I could continue to be productive.
11:00 - Went to Macy Thanksgiving Day Parade. Walked to Plaza. Lunch at Beef + Brew nearby.
1:00 - Bought tickets to Da + got back on Gay establishments.
1:45 - Went home + saw Blazing Saddles which was a lot of fun.
3:00 - Studied the Gayellow Pages + read Time in the bathtub! Luxury.
6:00 - Dinner at Weinerwald (Sucks) and the show till 10:30
Explore 1) Wild Wood - also Main man - (upper West). They had desserts for Thanksgiving upper west side ~ 75th
2) Harrys (upper east ~ 80th) nice. Also dropped into Charlies [aorth???]. ok but no one there.
