Mrs Little

Dear Madam

Your note of the is received.
I have looked at the stone and it appears to me
to be all right.

There is but one willow in the lot, which I will have
dug out, and I will have the shrubs & grass trimmed.

The grass is full of weeds in some places & is quite
uneven, and tho' it will look better when it is
trimmed than it does now, I do not think the lot
Can be made to look very well, without resodding
it. I do not judge from your note, that you
wish me to do this, so I will only carry out your
wishes as I understand them unless I hear
from you to the contrary.

Respectfully

J. W. Lovering
