Dear Sir

I have your favor of the 12^th inst.
I will proceed with the work and in the mean
time the Trustees will arrange with you for the
perpetual Care of the addition to lot ^#1350.

There has been an examination made in lot
1349 (Renton) and the sum fixed was ^$600, but I
do not know of any sum being fixed on the addition.
I have requested the trustees to fix the sum and
communicate with you.

Allow me at the time to call your attention
to the fact that on the monument in the Loring lot
the word Quincy is spelt Qincy
