Dear Sir

Some little time ago I received
a request that the oak tree between your lot [640] & no 629
might be removed.

As the tree is a very large one the corporation
would regret to cut it down, and hope you will
consent to have the fence & headstone repaired &
then let it stand until it becomes objectionable,
which perhaps it may not again.

Please let me hear from you whether this will
be acceptable if done at expense of corporation.
