Matthew Cox Esq

Dear Sir

Your letter of the to the Treasr
was received this morning by me. By reference to
your order I find that you ordered the care
of lots 205 & 206; whether you gave these numbers
to the gatekeeper who took the order, or whether he
took the numbers from a catalogue, you will most
likely be able to recollect. In either case I am
sorry that the mistake was made and as your
lots 2005 & 2006 were not cared for I will abate
the charge to you on the other lots, and will transfer
the order to the proper lots making no charge
this year. Trusting this will explain the error
in a satisfactory manner and that the care that
lots 2005 & 2006 will receive hereafter will meet
your wishes I remain

Very Respectfully
