Dear Sir
Your favor of is at hand
The work ordered by you, ie: putting lot 701 in
first class order, repairing the Hedge & putting a
[?] & [?] to prevent crossing shall be executed
I would suggest that the Hedge be trimmed
down to a height of 4 ft and that hereafter
it be kept at that height. This would improve
the appearance of the lot and also allow of the
filling at the corner with trees small enough
to live & grow well. We will have the bed of
myrtle set out in the spring as you desired and
will take care of the lot & keep the Hedge trimmed,
(the care being the labor of keeping the grass cut & the lot clean)
at $5.00 per an. on receipt of your order to that
effect. It would be well to manure it every alternate year at a
cost of $4.00
Very Respectfully
J. W. Lovering Supt per Childs
