A good day. There was some
frost this morning. The men
plowed some and stripped
tobacco some. They are stripping
tonight. We sent Mabel
to tell Jim that dinner
was ready. She went and
tolde him and then went
to John Wards. Her dady
switched her a little.
Made her very mad.
I got Ben to work on
the cup board to keep
out mice.
The children went
to school.
I done the cooking.
Nellie has a job
attending to
Elaine. Mabel says
her tooth hurts tonight.
I am sorry for
her.
