elected but Mr. T. H. Cheng moved that
Mr. Taam be recognized both as the
captain and manager ex officis. The
motion was seconded and passed.
Mr. D. K. Chang moved that a yelling
and "boosting" leader be elected and named
Mr. H. D. Chen as the andidate.
The former motion was seconded and carried
and Mr. Chen was elected by a
majority vote. Mr. Chen reported to
the meeting at large on the Night
School for the Chinese cooks and
pleaded for the help of the members.
It was suggested by the President
that those who were willing to give their
voluntary service to the said school
should be encouraged. The meeting
was moved to adjourn and was
handed over to the Eating Club
manager for the discussion of the
said club's business.
