Mr. Sah moved that the club should elect a de-
bating team ready for the conference inter-colligiate debate.
The motion was carried. Mr. Shen was nominated the
chairman of the debating committe.

The members of the Club [subscribed?] a tentative
sum of about eighty dollars. Eighty-two dollars.

The informal gathering to be given to the cosmopolitan club
was discussed by the president to some extent.

President brought put before the club that the cosmopolitan
club had asked our club to support the it financially in the
coming float - competition. and Some said that it was a moral
obligation for us to help the cosmopolitan club. Some said we
better not. Mr. Chien was asked to find out the definite sum.

(President reminded the members about the coming
May - 7th, our national shame memorial humiliating day.)

Sah moved that the club should not support the
cosmopolitan club - the float - competition. The motion
wasput to to vote with a result of 12-4. Mr. Ping called
for division. Approximate sum was [subscribed?] by the members
personally. Mr. Ping suggested that the club was not going
to enter the Float as a club.

Treasurer read the names who paid the membership fee.
