The last meeting of the Stanford
Chinese Club was called to order by the Pres.
Jim Ching on Jan. 8, 1948 at 7:45 p.m.

The Big Game Dance Committee
reported that $442 was collected & $410.50 of
this amoung was used to pay for the expenses :

New Business included the
election of the new club officers for the Winter
quarter: Pres - Ted Tong
V. Pres - George Leong
Sec-Treas - [Bev Dang?]

A motion was passed to have
the Coronation Ball on March 27 for which each
club member is to contribute $5 to a working
fund with the provision that each would get his
money back if the dance is extremely successful,
and to those not present their money would be
refunded.

Other business included the
publication of a school paper to which there was
little response, the selection of a speaker for the Inter-
collegiate Conference by the V. Pres., and the setting
of the date of Jan. 23 for the next meeting.

Adjourned - 9 P.M.
