Dear Mr. Bryan:

Thank you for your letter regarding John Bryan, Deceased.

Our papers do not show any such information as the name of the
Father and Mother is listed as Unknown. We have other way
of checking the relatives names.

If you still want the papers, we will be glad to send them upon
receipt of the $8.00 Document Fee.

Sincerely,

Dear Sam,

I wrote these people that
if their records showed that their John's
father was named John and he had a brother
in Maryland named Richard, that I would be
interested, as I was direct descendant of Richard.
The above seems to end the matter, at least as far
as I am concerned.

The Stanford Publications seem reluctant
to get my new address on their records, so I

{inserted above the salutation:
"P.S. You had already
told me of your double vision
& I think you are wise in using every precaution.
I have, as I think I told you, quit driving on my 84th birthday.
Drives lost their interest when my Josephine left me and
I am adjusting very well. You can slow up your physical
activities without slowing your
mental and spiritual joys of life.

I continue to do what I
am sure Josephine would have me do.

Shall write further soon,

Nick"}
