That a person be Qualified to enter upon the Study_
of Physic & Surgery, it is necessary that he have
a Thorough knowledge of the English Language
Such an acquaintance with the Latin and
Greek as to be able to Translate them with &
help of Dictionary; also a knowledge of the
Mathematicks and of Natural Philosophy._
any Person having received an Education
at some College or University shall be_
considered as Qualified to enter upon the_
Study of Physic & Surgery, if not the Above
Qualification obtained in some other course
shall be deemed absolutely prerequisite.

In pursuing the Study of Physic and_
Surgery, it is necessary to begin with Anatomy_
that being the Basis of all other branches;
to acquire a knowledge in this Fundamen=
tal part of the latest and most approved_
