Dear Sir:
First, in regards to your record section, I am no longer an a/c. graduated from that corps last May 25 and have since been promoted to the grade of 1st Lt.

Yes, I for one do not wish to return to Stanford. However that can only depend on the length of this war. Should this war continue for 3 or 4 more years I would rather continue to serve as an army officer. If less than that I hope to continue as a med student at Stanford University.

My work at the present does not lend itself to medicine in any way so for the present I can offer
