exactly what pre war Stanford was
like, because when I went there
things were already pretty
feverish. Therefore, I'm not in a
position to make any suggestion
as to changes in the pre war
program. I am interested, however,
in the possibility of finishing
a complete engineering course
in a somewhat shorter time than
was considered normal in pre
war years. That would mean
the relaxing of some requirements.
