At a Vestry held at Curls Church for Henrico parish the Sixth,
day of December ano 1735 - Present - 18
James powel Cocke. James Cocke Church Wardens, William Randolph Esq.
Richard Randolph, Bowler Cocke, John Redford, John Poval John
Williamson, Robert Mosby and William Fuller Gent. Vestryman
Pursuant to an act of assembly of this Colony directing this manner
of processioning every persons Land in the following precinct,
are laid-out and directed to be processioned as follows. Viz'
In obedience to an Act of Assembly of this Colony, and in pursuance of an
order of Henrico County Court made of a held for the said County
the first day of December anno 1735: the Vestry so order that John
Ellis, William Ellis and Abraham Childers with the assistance
of the Neighbouring free holders do some time before the last
day of March next coming goe in procession and renew the bounds
of all the Land adjoining on James River between Westham and the
upper bound, of the parish to extend back as far as Gordins Road that
leads up to the Hocketts, and that the Said John Ellis, William Ellis and
Abraham Childers (or any two of them) do take and return to this parish
vestry an account of every persons Land they shall procession and of ye
persons present at the Same and of what lands in their precinct
they shall fail to procession and of the particular reason of Such
Failure -
Pursuant to an Act of Assembly of this Colony, and in Obediance to an
order of Henrico County Court made of a Court held for the Said County
the first day of December ano 1735. The Vestry do order that Joseph
Parsons, Thomas Owin and William Brittian with the assistance of ye
neighboring free holders, do sometime before the last day of March
next coming go in procession and renew the Bounds of all the land
from William Gordin on the back Road to the head of ye parish thence
to the Main Swamp, so Down to Turners Run thence up Hongary
Branch to the head of up land Brook, thence to Gordins aforesaid and that
the Said Joseph Parsons Thomas Owin and William Britain (or any two of them)
do take and return to this parish vestry an account of every persons land
