which Lines we have Renewed in presence of the parties owning the
said Lands. Also we processioned John Cox and Richard Renard line
and William Whitlo and Richard Renard Line. John Cox and W[missing]
Whitlo being present, and Mic'll Turpin in behalf of ye Said [Renard?]
also we processioned the Lines of James Whitlo and Thomas Pleasa[nt]
William Whitlo and Thomas Pleasants line, Darby Enrufty and
Thomas Pleasants Line. John and Benj. Scotts and Tho's Pleasan[ts]
Line all the parties being present at the renewing the bound[?]
aforesaid (Tho's Pleasant only Excepted) he not having notice. Joseph
Mayos Land not processioned ocationed by his not attending us
there the Time appointed. We also renewed William Burtons Line
Which is all the patiented Land in the precinct ordered us by the

In obedience to an Order of the Vestry of this parish, and according to the
directions of an Act of Assembly entitled an Act for Settling the
Titles and Bounds of Lands, and for preventing unlawful shooting and
Ranging thereupon, We the Subscribers having gon[e] in procession of the
Several Lands within our precinct as by order bearing Date Dec'r
ye 6 1735 with the free holders as followeth. Viz

I am reasonably certain about the proper spelling of Theodrick Carter, his having been a very early grandfather and the name having persisted into the 19th century through a number of generations. One of my first cousins is a Giles Carter.
