Dear Mr. Tresidder,

It was indeed heart warming to receive your letter and realize Stanford has not forgotten those of us whose education was interrupted by the war.

There is little doubt in my mind [but what?] I shall resume my university work at Stanford as soon as I am discharged from the service.

To my way of thinking Stanford did in the past offer an excellent course to students who intendmaking a business of engineering.

The basic course was broad and not too technical. The school of business is reknowned
