Gentlemen,

I have missed the Stanford spirit and the traditional ["Hell"?] in recent years but hope it won't be long now before "Business as Usual" will be the order of the day.

It is rather doubtful if I will be back to Stanford, come peace and normality. We of the class of '36 had been out and established before this began and will probably try to pick up the threads where we dropped them. If anything would interest me it would doubtless be the graduate school of Business and I see no reason for changes in the pre-war school.

As for extra-curricular activities we have always enjoyed the sports program and will continue to appreciate and follow the Stanford Red.
