The aircraft encountered some thick weather and flew into a hill, all the members of the crew being killed instantly. The others were F/O K. Graham, (Pilot), Sgt. M.P. Moxsom (Nav.), Sgt. E.G. Priest and Sgt. D.D. Read (Air Gunners).
