416895 Leading Aircraftman Jack MOSELEY.
Parents: Mr. and Mrs. T. Moseley of Cobden, GREYMOUTH.

Jack Moseley was born at Hemsworth, England on the 24th July, 1920, and accompanied his parents to New Zealand in 1929. He was educated at Cobden School, reaching proficiency standard. From the time of leaving school in 1935 he was employed in the drapery trade, and when applying for enlistment in aircrew, on the 14th May, 1941, in the employ of Millers Limited at Greymouth.

Leading Aircraftman Moseley was enlisted at Woodbourne, Blenheim, on the 15th December, 1941, and employed there on ground duties until remustered to aircrew, and posted to the Initial Training Wing, Rotorua, on the 4th September 1942. He proceeded to Harewood on the 19th October for his elementary flying training.

Leading Aircraftman Moseley was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital on the 26th October suffering from illness, and died there on the 11th November 1942. He was buried in the Karoro Cemetery, Greymouth.
