Ash Leaved Maple (box Elder) common
maple, Elm, Poplar. It is a good plan
to get the lateral roots and cut off the
tap root.

John Bentley soaks all plants from
nurseries for 48 hours before planting

In our inspection of gardens and
lawn, we admired the chicken yard
with its commodious buildings and
flourishing chickens. The gardens was
in good order and on the lawn the
splendid Elm trees were admired en-
thusiastically. The Evergreen trees and
a glimpse of the river were beauties
we enjoyed.
