planted, melons, Lima beans, roots another
good planting of corn and [?]ole
potatoes. Then how is it going to be in
midsummer? Will the gardens be as usual?
Much depends upong contant work, string
the groungd and keeping down the
weeds. The flower garden must be attended
to at one; all seeds can be planted in
the ground. There are so many beautiful
annuals which will bridge over the
gaos in the blooming of perennials, poppies,
phlox Crummond[e's?]. wschscschotlgia
calendula, snap dragons and Salvias.
When you put out your begonias dont
leave them untrimmed and stragling but
shape them nicely and make a bed of
the cuttings in some shady nook and
put the potted plants in too a Ellen
Farfuhar does.
