Very little

3 What should be done with lillies of the
valley now? Thin out and transplant
and manure. To have them bloom in doors
bring in sod and put in a dark place
for a few weeks

4 Do rats and mice eat onions? Yes

5. Is is well to have the questions & Exhibits
of last meeting read? The questions
are read but not the Exhibits
Frederic Stabler reported an experiment
made by planting pumpkins
and squash near together and the
result was a decided mixture

6 When separate rhubarb? In the Spring
Roses transplanted in the fall, have to be
protected with leaves or straw about
the roots to prevent freezing and thawing
which does the real damage in winter
To trim roses in the fall cut out the
old growth and leave the young

7 When feritilze strawberries? Now unless
the ground is already rich. Put
straw on them about December 1st.

8 What plant in sunny window box?
Impatience Lullana and Geraniums.

9 How rid a lawn of moles? Put
moth balls in the runs and roll ofter
