We noticed that the waste water from
the kitchen was utilized in irrigating &
fertilizing a considerable cucumber
patch.

After reading the minutes of the last
meeting by the retiring secretary the following
questions were discussed:

1^st Is it best to cover cream? Ans. a tie vote

2^d Where is the proper place to keep canned
fruit? Ans - in a cellar, cool & dry.

3^d Could a Laundry be sustained in
this neighborhood? Ans - 15 vote aye, 5 nay

4^th Is there any substitute for posin
cement commonly used in canning fruit?
Ans - Pitch, & putty were both recommended

5^th Is cream or butter most easily kept
fresh? Ans - a tie vote.
