A very large & pleasant meeting
of this society convened at
Belmont March 21st 1874
Fred Stabler as foreman called the meeting
to order. twenty members and Eleven guests
present. Three of the visitors having come
all the way from Boston.

The secretary feeling a little delicacy about
the tune of his own horn, requested A.G.T
to blow for him, but as the duty of
secretary is to dwell so entirely amongst
records of business facts, our host must
excuse the absense and forgive the scarcity
of many sweet melodies from his trumpeter,
and satisfy himself as we did or at least
as far as our eyes wandered that things
were as things should be around
The house and farm.

The attention of the husbandmen
was attracted to a field of clover south
of the house, from the beautiful appearance
