42nd meeting
April 18th 1874 we convened at Lucknow
and were called to order punctually at half
past five by Walter H. Brooke, it is a pity
that we are becoming worse instead of better in
respect to the hour of meeting and in
Friends parlance "individual care is recommended"
The prem. of the Belmont Home Interest were
so full and interesting that we suggest the
appointing of A. G. Thomas as Sec. whenever
we can do so. Charles H. Brooke & wife
Mary Annis Stabler and Pattie Thomas were
with us as guests. The weather not being
very favorable and upon the assurance of
our Host and Hostess that there was nothing
worth seeing we did not walk abroad
The Laundry com. made a full report
through Thos D. Bond to whom our thanks are
due, but as it did not encourage us much
to establish one in Sandy Spring the com.
were continued in the hope that the project
