Thomas place. The business to brought up
the first thing at the next meeeting to
give us time to consider it fully, as
we all find the importance of bringing
into our families only books calculated
to inform as well as interest.

After the reading of the minutes,
we walked around to see the vegetable
and flower garden the former looked
very well. The tomatoes especially
fine, with large fruit already turning
white. The strawberry bed was especially
fine, having yielded already
58 gms of delicious fruit, and the vines
still looking full. The flowers were looking
very well, and some fine roses delight
ed us all. We should have stayed longer
except for the head of a burning sun
which suggests the idea that we should
put off our walk during the summer
months till late enough to enjoy it.
