A good day. Ben and Owen fired tobacco all day. Paul suckered tobacco. Ben and Josie went to Strait Stone a few minutes this evening.

Josie got dinner. We had snaps and peas the first peas that we had this year.

George Blair come over here and got some water melons this evening. Paul and Ben will stay at the barns to night.

9 30 oclock

Josie peeled and put out some apples to dry this evening.

A good day. Ben and family went to Rob Hubbards. Paul went with Marvin to Sunday School. He eat dinner at Marvins. Paul and Frank Blair went some where on Georges car. George and Denia was at Marvins this evening. Ren Worsham and family was at Marvins. Nat Wooding and family and Miss Alice Wooding was there two.

I staid at home til three oclock then I went to Marvins. I had bakers bread and cheese for dinner. Carrie sent them to me.

A good day. There was some frost this morning.

Ben finished firing his tobacco this morning. Ben and family went to Jim Powers to day. I went to George Blairs. They were all gone to Strait Stone to preaching. They had a good dinner and I enjoyed it.

Carrie and Marvin and the three little children come over there. I come with them back on the car.

Josie and Ben was at home when I got here. Tonight Marvin and William Gilbert are here filling out Williams questionaire. I hope he may never have to go to the war.

A good day.

I come with George Blairs folks to Chatham and to Letcher Craddocks. Found them all well. Frank Blair a greed to go to school at Chatham.

A good day. Rob Hubbard and family spent the day here. Ben carried them home. Josie went with them. This evening George and Denia and Otho and Sallie Blair come here. Lizzie Bennett went with them home.

The children and I eat our supper and the children have all gone to bed.

Ben and Josie have not come home yet.
