A clear colde day. The children went to school.

Jim and Ben was at Gretna. They staid all night at Chatham with Jims family. Come to Gretna and got breakfast and solde their tobacco & come home. They got home a bout dark.

Solde reasonably well I think.

Josie & I cut rags some today. Josie went to Marvins a little while this evening. Mabel was good to day for her to be.

Heard today that Mrs Jack Kellie was buried Saturday. I guess she will be very much missed. I found Henrys knife and 5 cts in the shucks. I have not tolde him yet.

Ben gave me a pair of overshoes to night.

A beautiful day. Some warm. Jim and Ben helped Owen strip tobacco after shucking some corn and carrieing it to the corn house and feeding the cows. Marvin loaded his waggon and sent it on to Gretna.

The children went to school. Josie and I got dinner.

I have went to sleep and let my book fall twice. Dont know any thing worth writing so I will quit.

A good day and much colder. Jim and Ben helped strip tobacco. They loaded the waggon for the market. I am afraid it will be snowing.

Josie ironed today. I got dinner. This evening I went to see Mollie Reynols. Johnson finished stripping tobacco this evening and loaded it on the truck. Floid Reynols is bad off with colde. Mollie got a letter from Julia today. Mildred is a bout well a gain.

Kate Harvey come by Reynols on her way to see Carries. I did not see Carrie to day. If the weather and my health will admit I will go to see her tomorrow.

This morning the ground was covered with snow. It has bin cloudy all day but no weather. Jim and Ben stripped tobacco. Mr Owen & Luke went to Gretna with a load of tobacco. It solde very well. I have felt sorry for them to be out in such weather. I hope it wont make them sick. Henry went to school. Edna had a colde and staid at home.

I got the most of the dinner. Josie sewed some on her quilt. I milked the cows and fed the calf and chickens. Brought 4 buckets of water and did not fall down. I am a fraid to do what I might. We did not see any of Marvins folks. Guess he is stripping tobacco all that he can fixing for market.

A good day. Very colde. Jim and Ben and Owen stripped tobacco. Josie got dinner. I washed some then went to Marvins. Marvin sent off his last tobacco to day.

Edna swept the floor in the room that we sleep in. Done a good job.

Edmons cowes come here today. One of them is here now.

Henry went to school to day.

Edna still has a cough.
