A cloudy cool day. Ben & Jim went to Chatham to day. Jim did not come back. Ben got home a bout dark.

Josie got dinner. She baked pies. They were fine. Josie made Edna a dress then went to Marvins. I fed the chickens and churned. Jims games began to hatch today. Henry will sleep with Franklin to night down stairs. Edna will sleep with me.

I want the weather to get good so bad.
