Snowed a gain to day. It snowed until a bout twelve oclock. It is clear to night. Ben has bin at home alday. He worked on a ground slide some. Marvin did not go to Gretna today. He came down and made pathes for us. Josie got dinner and brought water to night and fed the calves.

Ben milked for me this morning. Ben made the fire in the stove this morning the first time this year.

I got breakfast and washed dishes at breakfast and dinner. Certainly have enjoyed sitting by the fire the most of the time this winter. I have made a pair of gloves two night caps and pieced the top of a pillow to day.

Rain and hail this morning. The ground is so slick I am a fraid to go out doors.

I milked and that is all that I have done out of doors. Josie got dinner and supper. Ben has bin in doors most of the day.

Henry is sick yet I hope he is some better that he was last night.

Jim Brumfield and Walter Carr went from here this morning I certainly did hate for them to go in such weather.

I have bin knitting on a helmet for Bruce Reynolds. Hope I can finish it tomorrow.

Tonight Tom and Chesley Edmons come and staid until bed time. We had soup for dinner. We grown ups enjoyed it fine. Henry is still right sick.

A cool windy day.

Ben and Owen cleared off place for a barn that they want to build this year. I went to Charles this morning. I stayed nearly all day. Walked home. I come by Kates & Mollies and Carries. Josie had milked and had supper ready when I got home.

I was glad I had nothing to do -- I was tired. I finished my first sock that I knit for the soldiers and commenced another one. Will be glad when I am done them.
