A good day. The men cut wood for flue wood. Nellie got the dinner. I cut pieces. This evening Nellie went to see Kate. She was sitting up. She come by Reynols. They were getting on very well. Ben and Henry went to Mr. Edmonds tonight. Hattie Gilbert was here today. The children was talking about Washingtons birthday. Caused me to spell [?ong]. Edna and Mabel has gone to bed but keep talking. I am about asleep.

A good day. Ben plowed some. Jim went to Renan and Strait Stone hunting plow points. Ben went to Jesse Hutchersons for gas. Has run the engine all the evening. Irvin Harvey was here tonight. He said that his mother eat at the table. Charley?] Harvey went to [Thomas?] to put in a radio. I went to sleep. I am sorry that I spilt ink in my book. The Ladies Ade society met at Mr. Edmonds this evening. There was some cars passed here. Nellie was invited but would not go. She cut out some sewing.

A clear colde day. Jim and John Ward (col) cut wood. Ben plowed. Colde enough that the land froze as he turned it up. Nellie cut out some little suits for Mrs. Fitz boy. She done the most of the cooking and dishwashing. Mr. Thomson sent here for butter. I let him have a little. Christine Reynolds come. She wanted butter. I could not let her have any. I churned this evening. The children went to school. Mr. [Duepe?] was sick and did not teach. I hope he won't be sick much.

A good colde day. Ben plowed part of the day. Jim and olde John cut all day. Ben and Henry has gone to Strait Stone. Ben went to the lodge for the first time in several months. Nellie sowed some today. I cut some pieces for a quilt. I [washed?] some this evening. I let Edna and Franklin go to Reynols this evening. They did not stay long. Mollie was gone to see Mrs. Kellie. She is sick. Norman Booker carried Ben to Strait Stone tonight. Edna got the first butter cup today.
