A good day. Jim & Ben went to Lee Brumfields this evening & Henry.

Josie went to Rob Hubbards this morning. Edna & Franklin and I staid home all day.

Paul Bennett come a while this evening. I am all ways glad to see Paul.

Lucius Gravely passed here to day. He said he would take the school at Renan for a while so I guess the children will start to school in the morning.

Cloudy most of the day, Ben & Mayhew loaded Mayhews truck and started to Danville. Jim & Owen burned a plant bed & sowed it tonight. Jim and Marvin has gone to Strait Stone.

Josie come home this evening. Mrs. Hubbard died yesterday. Lucius Gravely commenced to teach school at Renan this morning. Henry Brumfield went to school. Edna & Franklin and I staid here all day. Gladis Brumfield come with Henry home.

A good day. Ben & Jim and Owen worked on plant beds this evening. Ben sawed wood for Mr Edmonds.

Josie washed. I got dinner - then went after Franklin. He ran a way and went to Carrie's. He eat dinner up there. We all sat in my room tonight. The other fire place had some brick out so they would not make a fire in it.

A good day. Ben finished stripping his crop of tobacco today. Jim & Owen and I and Josie helped him.

Josie got dinner. Marvin come to the barn a few minutes. He is very bad off with a colde. Josie and Franklin has a bad colde.

Tonight Ben and Jim has gone to Strait Stone. We was out of oil and coffee.

A clear windy day. The men folks worked on tobacco all day. I did not helpe them.

Josie sewed some working on her dress. I got dinner.

Josie & Edna and Franklin are all complaining , all got colds. Henry went to school.

Have not heard from Marvins today.
