A clear cool day. Jim and Ben cut some wood for flue wood. Josie ironed and sowed some. She made light rolls for supper. They were very nice.

I went to Marvins. I mended Floid Reynols coat. Henry and Edna went to school.

I gess I have burnt over a hundred papers today. Lizzie put them a way for her father. I though some one would burn them. If I did it would not trouble no one else and the children would not let them alone and Josie did not care.

A good day. Jim harrowed all day. Ben fenced some. Josie got dinner then her and Edna & Franklin and Mabel come to Johnson Reynols. I went this morning. Today was Mollie Reynols birth day. Christenia invited several of the kinsfolk to come.

I was all that went for dinner. Christinia went to the store and bought cakes and lemmons. Made lemon aid and served cakes & aid. Mollie has children that she is proud of. They seem to think so much of her. Reese Smith brought his mother and sister up there this evening and come and brough us all home. Kate Harvey was there two. I enjoyed it all.

A cloudy morning but no rain. I am haveing an easy time. My hip hurts me some yet I worked two button holes and hemed two quilts and gathered some peas today. Earl & Lonnie Bennett plowed some but they need rain bad. They watered their plant beds to night.

Alma went visiting this evening. Lizzie attends to the cows and chickens. She has five little turkeys. They are getting on fine.

I certainly do want to know how they are at home. Hope I will hear soon.
