A good day. Jim stripped tobacco. Ben worked on Dews's car this morning. This evening he painted on the cow shed & hen house roofs.
Effie & Beaula Brumfield come to see a bout getting schools. I went to Worshams pond. Isla Blair went with me. We did not catch any fish. We drove Bens hores.
Paul Bennett went from Marvins this morning. Henry Blair carried him to Gretna.

Thursday April 14, 1921
A cloudy day. No rain until night. Ben & Jim hauled old rails for stove wood.
Josie and I washed then got dinner. I churned. Josie sowed some. This evening I went to Marvins. Carrie had washed. Paul is very much complaining. Hope he will get well soon. I went to the plant bed and cut salit for dinner tomorrows dinner.
Friday June 24, 1921
A good day. Ben & Jim got the wheat up & stacked it. It was a mighty hot job. Henry thined some corn. Josie ironed some this evening. Carrie and the children except Paul and went to White Falls. Marvin sent some corn. We fished. Reese & Roy went batheing. Hazel & Eva waded in the water some. We caught several small fish. I did enjoy the trip. Gladis & Hildah Bru come a while this evening.
Stewart Owen has fever. I do hope he may get well soon.
Wednesday August 10, 1921
A good day. Jim and Ben worked on a spring box at the Owen spring half of the day. Ben went to Mrs Cars place to help put on a roof. Come home & him and three of the children has gone to the school house to a picture show. Josie ironed all the evening.
Reese Smith carried me & Paul and Roy to White Falls. I caught several fish there. Was a crowd of people at Whitefalls on a picknic. I would guess there was as many as 40 people.
There is a negro assosiation going on at Glendland. We met a lot going home. We come by Kates. Grace B was there.
Monday August 15, 1921
A good day. Ben & Jim and Henry worked in the tobacco all day. Ben sprayed some of his. Josie cand a few tomatoes this morning & got dinner. I got breakfast and milked the cows. Carried the milk to the spring and brought the milk that was ready to churned. Fixed the churn and churned. Carried some of the milk to the spring then dug bait. That is a big job now. Reese carried me and Paul & Roy to White falls. I caught a few fish. Come by Renan. Reese bough two sacks of salt[?]. Otie Kellie and Howard Strange was at the store.
