A good day. Ben finished tieing leaves to day. Josie handed some this morning then got dinner.

Jack Harvey brought the horse and buggy home this morning and staid and handed leaves until they finished tieing. He eat dinner with Ben.

Marvin carried Grace & Beulah Brumfield and I to Jessie Worshams pond. We fished. I caughed one nice fish. We c[om?]

A good day. Ben went to meet Jim at Gretna this evening. All the children went with him.

To night Clifton and Jane and Bruce & Molie Reynols was here to supper. I was glad to have them. Jack Harvey commenced to paint the house top. Quit and went to Mr Moses. He had Bens horse and buggy.

Josie got dinner. She made a cake. I killed two chickens for supper. I washed two pair of blankets this morning.

Heard to night that my brother went to Chatham Saturday and had some teeth taken out. I do hope he may get well a gain.

Heard tonight that Hughs Walker died this morning. I knew him when we were young.

A beautiful day. Preaching at Strait Stone. We was all at home at dinner. Ben and family went to Jim Powers. They had plenty of company.

Jim roved a round all evening. I went to Marvins. Some of their children has very bad colds. Mr Owen went to meet his daughter at Long Island. He went on the buggy.

A good day. Ben shucked corn about all day. Jim until dinner. Then he went to the mill at White Falls. He carried Franklin with him. Josie commenced a dress for herself to day. I went to Cedar Forest. Elsie East carried me. She had a horse and buggy. We fished a while. Did not catch any thing worth anything. We had a good time any way.

Henry has commenced to sleep up stairs.

A good day. Jim and Ben finished shucking corn. I got dinner. Josie ironed some. She has bin so troubled all day that she could not work much. Poor little Henry went to Gretna last night though he would go to Richmond but he did not get off. His father brought him home. We were all so glad to have him home again. I do hope he wont try it a gain soon.

Edna went to school. Miss Carter let her go on the buggy with her. Carrie and the children come a little while late this evening.
