A cloudy all day. We have had a good rain last night and to day.

The men folks stripped tobacco all day. Ben carried the children to the school house this morning.

I cooked most of the dinner. Nellie brought the water. Josie & Nellie washed the dishes at dinner.

Josie got supper.

We shelled some beans tonight.

Ben has gone to Renan to some sort of public speakin. All of the ballance of the folks has gone to bed.

A cloudy day. The men folks stripped tobacco.

Josie got dinner. Nellie brought the water that she used and the wood was in the house.

I washed some. Did not put out the clothes.

I went to George Blairs. Denia and the girls was cleaning the yards.

Cordie Blair has some beautiful flowers. Isla has not come home yet.

Tonight Ben and Henry has gone hunting.

A cloudy day. The men stripped tobacco to day. Josie got dinner and supper. Nellie brough the water.

This evening Ben carried Henry and I to White Falls. I caught 30 fish. Henry caught five. Ben killed two squirrels.

I got three letters to day. One from Effie, John, & Julia Fergerson. I am always so glad to get letters.

I dug the bait to fish with. Edna helped me get them. She is a good help when she will.

A good day. Very warm for the time of year.

Josie & I got dinner.

Nellie went home this evening. Ben carried her to Gretna. Jim and Franklin went.

I went to Marvins a few minutes. Ren & Ethel and all their children come a while this evening. I was glad to see them.

We agreed to take a negro girl to help us. She came this morning to see us.

Lawson Emerson & Jo Edmons come this evening to see Henry.

Aubra & Emet Brumfield was at Marvins this evening and Irvin Harvey. They had a time riding wheels.

A cool day. To night is colde. Jim & Ben went to Chatham. Nellie come with them home. I am very glad that she come.

Mr Owens baby is sick. I do hope he may be better soon. Josie baked a fruit cake to day.

Mr Owens carried some chickens to Long Island this evening.

I was at Marvins a few minutes this evening.
