A beautiful day.

Ben carried me part of the way to Lee Brumfields. I had a good day. They had no company.

Miss Lillian Peak come be fore I come home. I started walkin met with Oscar Brumfield. Grace got his horse and buggy and brought me nearly home.

Ben and Edna come home Josie and Franklin staid at Mrs Carrs.

Henry was with me. Him and Hugh Brumfield played all the time we were at Lees.

A cloudy day and rain in the evening. Charles Brumfield was buried this evening.

He was buried in a quiet decent manner in my judge ment. Rev Padget talked some at the grave. There was a large crowd of kinds folks and friends present.

All went home this evening except Hugh Brumfield. He staid with Henry.

They could not go to sleep tonight for laughing and playing.

A cool day for this time of the year. Ben and Josie and Paul Bennett went to Strait Stone to preaching.

Henry and I staid at home. Gladis and Hugh Brumfield come. Kate and Irvin Harvey come. They were here for dinner I was glad that Kate come. She had not bin here in a long time be fore.

I went to Willie Mayhews to an ice cream party. The cream was fine I did enjoy it so much. I come home on Mr Bob Starkeys car was glad of the ride. Heard that Nannie Reynolds has a girl born to day.

A good day. Ben and Owen hauled a load of lumber from Davis's mill this morning and from Hubbards this evening.

Josie washed some this morning. I got dinner. This evening Grace and Hugh Brumfield and I went to White Falls fishing. Did not catch any thing. Grace carried me on the buggy. I did not get home until dark. I churned tonight. Josie washed dishes.

Ben caught a pig this morning and broke its leg. I hope it may get well.

A good day. We all staid at home until twelve then Ben went to Willie Mayhews. Josie and I got dinner.

Josie straitened up in my room and swept the floor. Something that is not often done. I was glad that she did it.

Gladys and Hugh Brumfield Stewart and Delma Owen come to see the children here. I think they had a good time. Irvin Harvey come a few minutes. I did not get to speak to him.

Josie dressed a chicken to night. She thinks now that they will start to school in the morning.

Mr Layne come this morning to get his calf. He couldn't get it to follow him.
