A beautiful day. Jim & Ben planted potatoes & onions & peas.

Josie and helped some.

I made some soap this evening. This morning I cut some salit and carried it to Mrs Owen. We had salit for dinner. I cut that yesterday. Josie cut salit to day for tomorrow.

Henry & Edna went to school to day. Franklin played out nearly all day.

Cloudy most of the day & some rain. The men finished planting tobacco & replanted some.

Josie got dinner this evening. She went to Marvins.

We had peas for dinner and fried chicken. Had strawberries for supper.

All of us are able to eat most any thing that we cook.

A good day. The men worked tobacco all day. Marvin helped them this evening.

Josie ironed all the morning. I watered and covered some potatoe slips this morning. I got most of the dinner. We had peas & beets for dinner to day.

This evening Josie and I went to Marvins. Josie staid with the children. Kate Harvey and Carrie and I went for straw berries. Did not find many. I have bin cappin some to night.

A good day. The men folks finished replanting tobacco. Josie got dinner. She had fried chicken and peas and beets. This evening she scrubed the cook room floor.

Mr Jim Power & wife come up here after cherries.

I went fishing. Grace B carried me. We got a mighty nice string of fish.

Hugh Brumfield come a while this evening. Got as many cherries as he could eat.

Jim and Ben has gone to Strait Stone to night.

Ethel Worsham has a son born this morning that is the 19th grand childe.

Kates cow has a calf. Came last night. I was so glad to see Kate this morning.

A good day. Jim & Ben sowed some peas. Ben went to Lee B after them and carried all the children. Henry carried two doz eggs. He bought match and fly powder & chewing gum.

Henry done his first plowing to day. Dr Bennett and Henry Bennett come to see Jim & Ben today.

Josie ironed this morning. I got dinner. This evening I ironed some & then went to the sweet potatoe patch. They are lookin well. I come through Jims tobacco ground. The tobacco is growing some.
