A good day. Clouds a round this evening but no rain here to do any good. Ben fired tobacco. We all tied tobacco this morning a while. Lizzie Bennett helped us. Josie come home and got dinner. She had corn and irish potatoes and fried apples. We all enjoyed the dinner. Doris Brumfield and Christine Reynolds come here a while this evening. Heard to day that Kate Reynolds and Clack Hubbard was married yesterday.

Was not surprised much. I got a letter from John Brumfield to day. The first in a long time.

A good day. Jim and Ben cut some in the woods to day. Ben loaded on his tobacco on John Tuckers truck this morning. Ben intends going to Danville in the morning. Josie got dinner. She got turnip salet. The first that we have had this year. I ironed some. I went to Marvins this evening. While I was there a man came and bought a cow from him.

Clack Hubbard moved to Renan today. I hope he may do well and it will be for Kates good two. I am so anxious to know how every one is getting on. It keeps so colde that I cant get out much yet.
