Adopted provided the grade district is extended from Mill Street to Law St instead of to Jackson Street From Same Committee rejecting petition of A A Bell and others for grading Eighth Street from Depot Street to Mill Street as the same has not been signed by a majority of the property owners in said Street Adopted. From Same Committee rejecting petition of J C Brittain and others for opening West St toUniversity Street and the widening of the Alley through to Mill Street. Adopted From Same Committee on petition of F Hochbrunn and others for changing cetain grades and asking that a Committee be appointed to investigate the grade of Depot, Fifth and other streets, as follows: "We recommend that a committee be appointed to examine said grades with power to act" On motion the whole matter is referred to the Street Committee in conjunction with the City Attorney. From Same Committee on remonstrance of Geo Brandt and others against opening Alley through Block 106 of D T Denny's 1st Addn recommending that the parties now obstructing the alley be given until November next to vacate the same. Adopted. From Same Committee asking further time to report on the ordinance asked for by theWest Street Lake Union andPark Transit Company. Granted.
