A clear cool day. Had a wind and rain storm this morning be fore day. Mr. Bascome Carr died last night. Ben and Josie went down there started abough midnight.

Henry went to school. Edna and I staid here all day. Ben come home this evening. Owen done the feeding this morning. Irvin Harvey come this evening and got a rooster. Said his mother come home from Java to day.

A nice morning. Wind and a little rain in the evening.

Ben and Owen went to Charles Brumfields to help shuck corn. They finished getting up his corn and finished covering his corn house.

Josie ironed the most of the day. Carrie and Roy and Hazel come and eat dinner with us. Josie helped to carry Hazel home. Gladis Brumfield come with Henry from school. Ben and Josie and Franklin went to Mrs Carrs to night. Ben will come home if nothin happens to him.

The children are all a sleep now.

A good day. Raining tonight.

Ben went and helped to cut Charles feed this evening. Owen plowed. I got out the beans that the Blair girls gathered last fall they are very nice.

Edna spent the evening at Aunt Carries. Henry went to school. Both the children have bad colds.

All gone to bed but me. I soon will be if nothing happens.

A warm clear day. A thunder cloud to night and a little rain. Ben and Chesley Edmons and Kate Harvey and I went to Chatham this evening. Irvin Craddock bought a cow here this morning. We passed them twice to day on their way home.

Josie staid at home today. She made her a dress.

We saw Jim and Evylin and Nellie Brumfield to day.

A cloudy windy day and rain tonight. Ben worked on his plant beds. Owen plowed until it rained.

Josie commenced washing but quit before she finished as the weather was so bad. I got dinner.

Josie commenced making bats for her quilt. To night I mended my gloves.

Franklin has a very bad colde.
