A good day. Ben carried Jim to Gretna this morning. Earl and Paul Bennett went some where from here this morning. Josie and I got dinner. Kate and Irvin Harvey come today.

Mr Mayhew and Mr Dews and Owen and Charley Hutcherson and two children was here this evening.

Ben is at the barn to night. We heard that Jo Edmons broke his arm this evening. I am very sorry for him also his folks.

A day that the men folks could work most of the time. They moved tobacco and scattered sticks ready for cutting. We all tied primings and finished. Josie got dinner.

I went to the tomato patch this evening. Could not get many tomatoes. Brought a water mellon home. We cut it. It was fine.

It is raining now hope it may stop soon. Ben went to Ren Worshams this evening and to Strait Stone this morning. Paul carried his mother to Lee Brumfields this morning. Guess she is at Kate Harveys to night.

A good day. Clouds a bout but no rain here to speak of. The men folks finished cutting a house of tobacco.

Josie ironed this morning. Lizzie churned for me. I went to see Julia Fergerson this morning. She was at Carries. Marvin carried her home. Kate Harvey come a while this evening. Lizzie and Edna and Franklin walked with her some of the way home.

Ben and Owen is at the barns to night.

A good day. Just at dark it rained a shower. It was badly needed. The men folks got out at three oclock this morning and moved some tobacco and cut some this evening. Josie and [I] helped them some this evening. We picked some beans this morning.

This evening Cordie and Nettie Blair and Lizzie Anderson come. Kate and Virginia Harvey come. Virginia wants to learn to knit and knit a sweater.

A good day. Ben and Paul has taken the day easy. They killed three squirrels this morning. This evening Paul carried Paul Smith and Henry and Edna and I to White Falls. We come back by Renan. Paul registered. Josie washed. I got a snack for dinner. I stopped a few minutes at Kates. She looks tired and bad. Mr Owen went to the mill to day. Ben and Paul are loading the waggon with primings.
