Tombs
Voted. That the comee on Lots be requested to report what parts of the Cemy. are suitable for the building of Tombs.

Voted. That the President be a comee to prepare the form of a declaration of trust to be used by persons desirous of bestowing funds for the preservation of tombs monuments & lots.

Voted. That the Secy be authorized at at his discretion to issue a Ticket to some one of the representatives of deceased Proprietors in such cases as are not now provided for by the laws & rules & regulations

Trustees
Pursuant to notice issued by the Secy. the Trustees of the Pros. of the Cemy. of Mount Auburn met at the office of the Secy. on
Present Messrs Story Bigelow B. R. Curtis Crocket Gould Parker & Read
Form of Trust
Voted. That all sums received from grants or bequests for the purpose of keeping lots in repair shall form one fund, to be designated "the fund for repairs," & the amount to be credited to each lot shall be ascertained by taking the whole income of the whole fund & dividing it among the several lots entitled thereto in proportion to the principal sum granted or bequeathed to the Corporation by the proprietor of such lot.
Voted. To adopt the form of a declaration of trust reported by the President & that the Secy cause the same to be printed & copies thereof to be distributed to such of the Proprietors as may call for the same, & that public notice thereof be given in the newspapers.
Bequests limited
Voted. That no gift or bequest of a less amount than one hundred dollars will be received.

Voted. That the Trustees agree to appropriate the sum of 5000$ toward the erection of a suitable chapel on the grounds provided the same sum shall be raised by subscription for the same purpose within one year
Hedge. Trees
Voted. That the Comee on Lots be authorized to cause a Hedge to be planted on the East, South & West lines of the Cemetery & trees to be planted on the vacant lands according to the recommendation of a Comee accepted
Voted that the consideration of the two subjects of of an observatory & the introduction of pure
Water
water into the Cemy. be postponed to a future meeting of the board.
Voted. That a Comee of 3 consisting of Messrs Brimmer, Bigelow & Story, be charged with the duty of obtaining subscriptions & a plan for the Chapel -

Sale of Land
Voted. That the committee on Lots have the power to dispose by exchange or ^otherwise of the land called Haymer Meadow & that the President of the Corporation be authorized to execute the deed - the disposal to be made either for money, or any other compensation which they may deem proper -
New Lots.
Voted. That the Committee on lots cause to be laid out 100 lots in the Cemetery & give public notice that either of them may be taken at 80$ before the 1st of June next & after that day the price of all lots should be not less than 100.$

Proprietors 1844.
Mount Auburn Cemetery.
The annual meeting of the Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn, will be held at the office of the Subscriber, in Boston, to choose trustees for the ensuing year, to hear the report of the Treasurer, and act on any other business which may legally come before the said meeting.
B.R. Curtis Secty .
Pursuant to the above notice which was published in several newspapers printed in Boston more than seven days before the said time of meeting the Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn met at the time & place therein designated.
In the absence of the President, Charles Brown was chosen Chairman.
The Treasurers reports having been laid before the meeting it was
