329 COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE Aug 9/83 Third & 4th Streets The Motion for the recommendation of the vote by which the Contract for the Improvement of Pine St under the Ord 421 was awarded the Harkins & Strong & entered on Page 323 is lost by the following vote to wit: in Favor of reconsideration Day & Harris. Against the same Ranke, Wusthoff & Rasin. Ordered that the vote by which the order for retaining $500.00 from any Warrants issued or to be issued to Cummings by reason of thereof failure to enter into contracts for the Improvements of Cherry & South 3rd Streets be & the same is hereby reconsidered. In favor of such reconsideration, Day, Wusthoff & Rasin. Against the same Harris & Ranke. III That the City construct a wharf or roadway 30 feet in width on the South side of Washington St 100 feet in a westerly direction from the West line of the alley in Block 2 of Maynard's plat in accordance with grade. IIII That the Committee on Streets and Street Improvements be instructed to make said imporvements and the necessary ordinance be drawn V Your Committee ask further time to report on the petition to wharf pour in front of Block 2 and 3 Maynards Plat.
