A rainy day. The land is good and wet the first time in about five months. I hope it will quit raining for this time soon. Jim & Ben stripped tobacco all day. Marvin went to Gretna to meet some one. A Mr Shelton went with him. I know that they had a rough time.

I went to George Blairs. Lottie is there with her two little children & Net with one. They are good looking children.

Ben has gone to bed sick. I hope he may be well soon.

Josie made Edna a dress today.
