A cloudy day. No rain.

Ben went to Cedar Forest this morning to meet Josie. She staid at Altavista last night on her way from W Va. I think she had a good time and was glad to get home. The children was so glad to see her and all the rest of us was glad. There has not bin much traveling as the roads is so bad.

I went to Marvins a few minutes this evening. Carrie was complaining of the head ache. Hope she will be well soon.

A good day. The men hauled in the pea hay this mornin and hauled manure this evening. Commenced to use the spreader this evening. Josie helped to get dinner to day and has got the dinner for ten days she says. I went to Mr Owens and dressed the baby.

While we were eating dinner Marvin called me and ask if I wanted to go fishing. Of course I said I wanted to go so he carried me to Cedar Forest. I did not catch many fish.

I was glad of the trip.

I got a letter from Alma this evening. Ben & Jim has gone to Willie Mayhews to night to get him to haul a load of guano.
