A good day. The men folks finished replanting tobacco. Josie got dinner. She had fried chicken and peas and beets. This evening she scrubed the cook room floor.

Mr Jim Power & wife come up here after cherries.

I went fishing. Grace B carried me. We got a mighty nice string of fish.

Hugh Brumfield come a while this evening. Got as many cherries as he could eat.

Jim and Ben has gone to Strait Stone to night.

Ethel Worsham has a son born this morning that is the 19th grand childe.

Kates cow has a calf. Came last night. I was so glad to see Kate this morning.

A good day. The men folks worked on their tobacco all day.

I washed a little this morning. Josie got dinner. She had croped [?] greens and beets, onions & potatoes and tomatoes and pies. It was all good but worked her two hard.

This evening I went to George Blairs. The girls were seeding cherries. Denia & Mrs Hutcherson was gone to see Ethel Worsham. I come by Carries. Josie was there. We seeded some cheries.

A good day. It rained this morning at two oclock this morning. We all staid at home until after dinner time.

Ben & family went to Rob Hubards. Come back to Jim Powers. They got supper there. They had ham and ice cream.

I went to Marvins. Ethel Worsham and all of her family. They have a nice lot of children.

Dr Owens son and Mr Ruckers son was there. I come home & milked the cows and got supper for Jim and I.

A good morning. Rain this evening and tonight. The branch has bin out of the banks and washed a way the foot bridge the third time in the last month.

Ben & Jim & Owen plowed in their tobacco this morning.

Nellie made preserves and caned berries all the morning.

Josie got dinner. I milked two cows and Josie one. She helped me milk.

Wren Worsham carried me & Henry and Isla Blair to Worshams pond to fish. I caught 4 small carp. I was glad to get them. We got back as far as George Blairs before it rained. George Jr brought us home. I am glad that they are so good to me. I eat dinner with Wren & Isla at a good spring on the hill.

Suiter? Blair and wife & son come to George Blairs this evening. I wanted to see Denia but she was at Ethels. I milked the cows after supper.

Cloudy most of the day. Ben & Jim staid at home. Josie got dinner.

I went to see my brother Letcher. He is sick. They think he is a little better now. I do hope that he may get well soon. Ellen had a good dinner. I am sorry for her. She is so young to have the care of the house. Ren Worsham carried me. I thank him for that.

There was a crowd at Letchers this evening. Ethel and all the children was on the car. I am a fraid that they got wet before they got home.

Marvin & Carrie went to Strait Stone this evening. They got in and did not get wet.
