A good day. Ben and Owen finished getting up wheat and rye this morning. Ben and Marvin went to Hubbards this evening. Josie finished Beatrice Owens dress this evening. I got the dinner.

This evening Grace Brumfield and I went to the river fishing. Caught eels.

Got home at dark. Josie had milked and got supper. I was glad. I was tired. I got a letter from Mary Brumfield. I am glad to hear from them.

A good day colde tonight. Ben and Owen hauled logs.

Paul carried Edna and Henry and Reese and I to White Falls. I caught 4 fish and two eels. Josie got dinner. She went to Marvins a little while this evening. I tried to get some meat at Mt Airy this evening. Could not get it.

To night Ben and Owen and Paul went to the barn to put some tobacco in the pit.
